Hi, I’m Kinda — the heart behind Travel by Kinda LLC 💛. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, but Richmond, Virginia has been my home since 2002. I’ve been happily married since 2004 and am a proud mom of four amazing children and two wonderful bonus kids — all grown now and living their best lives!

My love for travel started long before passports and plane tickets. Growing up, vacations meant road trips and bus rides to visit family or explore nearby places. Those trips taught me that travel is really about the moments, not the money. After college, I planned my first Caribbean getaway with friends and realized something life-changing: you don’t need to spend a fortune to travel well. From there, I started organizing trips for my family — juggling everyone’s preferences, budgets, and dreams — and fell in love with making travel seamless and special for others. Over the years, I’ve cruised 11+ times, explored most of the Caribbean and Mexico, visited over 30 U.S. states, and helped countless clients plan everything from family vacations and romantic getaways to solo escapes and group adventures. I also love going to concerts, shows, and cultural events, and I’ll happily travel anywhere for experiences that inspire.
